1000 Years of Sheffield
'Our Sheffield' - First year project to produce a physical, printed, folding map exploring the city through a specific lens. I created a walking tour of historical sites throughout the city. One side features a map of the city illustrating the route and the other side gives detailed information about each location.
The map folds into compact form but to allow for quick access, the route is printed in brief on the back. The map is screen printed to give it a vintage/historical aesthetic as well as a layer of craft and polish.
The project also involved producing an audio/visual piece to go alongside the physical map, leading people to the physical map or expanding upon it's ideas. I went for a minimal cinematic that explores some locations from the map.
